5 books I’m reading

Pioneer Girl~ Laura’s original book written for adults. I’m reading it slowly because I can’t resist reading all the notes on the side. I think whenever I finish it, I’ll go back and re-read it only reading the story.

The President’s Shadow by Brad Meltzer. His books are historical mystery type books. I’m enjoying it.

Sticky Faith~ a book recommended by one of James’ youth leaders about helping our children have a faith that sticks.

You and Me Forever: Marriage in Light of Eternity~ by Francis Chan

Penrod~by Booth Tarkington I JUST started this one tonight to see if I think James will like it for a literature selection.

…but wait there’s more. Really there is. I’m always reading several books and will probably never catch up on my “to read” pile.

4 things I’m doing tomorrow~

Having a CT scan to see if we can figure out some abdominal pain I’ve been having

Working on the budget/bills

Folding laundry

Taking James to one of his activities

3 things I did last weekend

Hosted a wedding shower for my sister

Shopped at Trader Joe’s ~we don’t have one near us so I always like to pop in when I can.

Enjoyed a wonderful service at church

2 projects I’m working on

Knitting a hat for my friend who is about to start chemo

Organizing the house (always organizing and cleaning out)

1 prayer request

I need to get a good schedule going for me in order to be more productive with my time. I’m thinking of areas and things that need to be done but just need to sit down and map it all out. One thing I really  need to get into the schedule is regular exercise time.

What about you? What are you up to? Do you want to share your own list of 5 things?

Hope your CT scan gives you some answers. I have Pioneer Girl on my shelf but keep picking up other things ahead of it.

We only have one Tracer Joe’s in the city, not close to us. I haven’t been there but my son and d-i-l love it as does my oldest son in RI.
