Wrapping Up Thanksgiving

by adustyframe ~ November 29th, 2015

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving week.

We enjoyed having Lee home most of the week. Thanksgiving was just us which was completely fine with me.

He’s getting ready to go back on the road and we’re getting ready to gear up for Christmas. This year will be a lot of fun with Nathan. He’s already into the lights he sees when we drive at night and every pine tree is now a Christmas tree. He’s going to be lots of fun this year.

I’m thankful for you. Thankful that you hang in there when I don’t post a lot. Thankful that you leave a comment now and then. Thankful that you share in our joys and hard times. Thankful that you pray for us!

    Dear Lizzie,
I don’t visit often, but I wanted to let you know that I love to get out your Visions of Sugarplums recipe book every Holiday Season. It sits on the shelf with my other Christmas cookbooks and reminds me of you. I pop in to your blog occasionally and am always refreshed by your gentle and wise words. Thank you.

AWW thank you so much! Your words have made me smile several times since you posted.

I can just imagine how big his eyes get and how excited he gets. So glad Lee was home also. We had a nice Thanksgiving also.

  3. Pam

Every time I read a post where you are all together for a holiday I think of the heartache you experienced years ago……longing to be together as a family…..may God continue to bless you as you have so richly blessed others with your testimony

YES!!!! ME TOO–I just posted something about this today!
