What Are You Up To?

by adustyframe ~ November 13th, 2016

Most days, my husband asks what I’m doing that day.
Almost every day, I say, “dishes, laundry, clutter, eBay, running the boy somewhere.”

I was telling a friend this today and we laughed. We don’t do big exciting things most of the time. It’s just the dailies. But those dailies are so important.

We can change the world by being faithful in our homes and sharing the love of Jesus with our families and neighbors.

So, next time, maybe I will tell him, “I’m changing the world today!”

Tonight we drove out in the country . Just five minutes from our house. We parked on a road that led into a field and watched the super moon come up. It was “BEAUTIFUL” and we made a date to do it again tomorrow night.

The dailies can become very wearying can’t they. 7 weeks until this baby is due and the everyday is a tired struggle. But for the other 4 I guess I am changing the world.

Love this! A missionary friend was once asked by her mission leader who was visiting them overseas, “What do YOU do?” (Her husband is a church planter & pastor.) Her reply: I sort garbage, hang laundry, and homeschool. Amen!

    But, really, you’re building a cathedral, right? 🙂 http://www.anecdote.com/2008/07/the-stonecutters-cathedral-builder/
