She’s been a behind the scenes encourager to me for a long time and I just appreciate how sweet she is.
I totally love all the deals and coupons she posts and here’s the purpose of this post.

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009

Frugality is a fact of life for us. My family never had much money when I was growing up, but I never really knew it.
My Mom made being frugal fun. We love a good thrift store trip and rummage sales are fun too. We learned to create our own fun and use what we owned.

Swagbucks Tips

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

I’ve been enjoying Swagbucks.
Basically what you do is use it to search instead of another search engine.
Remember
1. You don’t get a swagbuck every time you search. It’s completely random.
2. You WILL get swagbucks when you use it–just not every time.
3. Use it every time you search. Don’t forget and use another search engine.

James and I have began visiting the Farmers Market on Saturday mornings.

Last Saturday, I found this beautiful bouquet for $5. I enjoyed looking at it on my counter this week.

Ebay picture tutorial

Thursday, May 1st, 2008

I was perusing blogs this morning. I saw at The Nesting Place  that she had listed some items on Ebay. Being nosy, I had to peek. I noticed that she had multiple photos in her listing, which costs $$$.
I asked her to email me so I could tell her how to save $ on Ebay [...]

Easy Bake Oven Fun

Wednesday, April 16th, 2008

James discovered my Easy Bake oven in the basement and wanted to know what it was.
My Easy Bake is brown and orange. Can you guess what era it was when I got it?
I showed him and he thought it was the coolest thing ever, but he couldn’t use it. Somehow my pans didn’t get saved [...]

A pretty tea cup

Monday, February 11th, 2008

I am pretty much a coffee girl. However, last Christmas my son and my sister bought me a pretty Christmas tea pot.
Since then, I’ve begun to drink more tea. James and I have teas sometimes after school. We eat a snack, listen to our composer, and sip tea. I had collected some little cups but [...]

I’ve been knitting a few project here and there. One thing I needed to finish was my brother’s scarf. It was his Christmas present! Oops! (It went out in the mail today!)

I found instructions online once to learn how [...]
