On Sunday afternoon, my group of girls came over for a little Christmas/goodbye get together.
These girls are my friends who have incarcerated husbands (or formerly incarcerated husbands).

I am thankful for so many things. I try to practice gratitude on a daily basis.
Counting our blessings and thanking God for all things big or “small” keeps our minds focused on Him rather than our circumstances. Believe me–watching our circumstances is not a good thing.

I’m SO thankful that he has a job where his clothes can get so filthy.
Then I’m beyond blessed that he’s not locked away in prison so that he can work and I can get a smooch sometimes.
