Welcome!
I had to participate because I just love Robin. She’s been a great encouragement to me.
Now, I know this is a party, so I’ll be light but my blog is
all about my husband’s incarceration.
So my “about me” post is not light, but it will sure tell you more about me.
Here is one of my […]

James and I have began visiting the Farmers Market on Saturday mornings.
He went once with Grandma and got hooked on the egg rolls made by an oriental family. He asks to get one every Saturday.
Last Saturday, I found this beautiful bouquet for $5. I enjoyed looking at it on my counter this week.

Isaiah 64:8
But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

Most of us have read a book or heard a sermon about the potter. It is an excellent illustration of how God molds and makes us into vessels fit for […]

Lee has been working for one week at the newest temp assignment. So far so good.
He’s working with machines and processes that he is very familiar with. He’s hoping to get hired on there. The boss told him that he catches on very quickly.

Happy 4th of July to my fellow Americans.
We want to extend a huge thank you to those who served or are currently serving.
We appreciate your sacrifice.

I’ve been meaning to ask you to do me a favor.
If you link to A Dusty Frame on your blog, will you please email me? I want to start a Friend’s of Lizzie blogroll for those of you who link to me.
Please email me a adustyframe@yahoo.com. Include your name, your blog name, and your blog […]

I know I haven’t been blogging as much as I was. I have all sorts of things swirling in my head but taking the time to get them posted just isn’t happening right now.
May was an incredible month. Very happy, very busy, very stressful. I’m still not quite adjusted and now we have a new […]

We mailed our appeal to the parole officer. We are asking her to review the rule disallowing James and Lee to visit.
Please pray that she will consider the facts and change her mind!
If she doesn’t agree, we can appeal to her supervisor, the regional manger, and on up the line ultimately to a judge.
As you […]

When I posted the previous post, I waited until I wasn’t so upset. But I am not sure I did a good job of saying that I do not believe the teacher had any malicious intent.
I actually love her and do not harbor any ill feelings.
It just hurt and it reminded me that we’re far […]
